Terms & Conditions – Donations and Animal Adoption
Thank you for considering supporting WWF Armenia through our donation and animal adoption options. By proceeding with these transactions, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Definitions:
1.1 Donations: Contributions made to support WWF Armenia’s conservation initiatives.
1.2 Animal Adoption: Contributions made for the symbolic adoption of specific animal species, supporting conservation efforts for those species.
1.3 Monthly Contributions: Recurring charges to your chosen payment method on a monthly basis.
1.4 Lump-Sum Contributions: One-time charges to your chosen payment method.
- Donation and Adoption Process:
2.1 By initiating a donation or animal adoption, you confirm that you are the account holder or have explicit permission from the account holder to make the contribution.
2.2 Contributions can be made through various methods, including monthly and lump-sum payments.
- Monthly Contributions:
3.1 For monthly contributions, your account will be charged on a regular basis, and you authorize WWF Armenia to charge your account accordingly.
3.2 In case your account balance is insufficient for a monthly donation or adoption, we will attempt to charge it every two days. If the charge is unsuccessful by the end of the month, we will attempt to charge a reduced amount.
3.3 Cancelling monthly donations or adoptions is possible by contacting us at donation_am@wwfcaucasus.org . Please allow reasonable time for the cancellation to take effect.
- Lump-Sum Contributions:
4.1 Lump-sum contributions involve a one-time charge to your chosen payment method.
- Consent to Payment Processing:
5.1 By clicking “Agree” to these terms, you acknowledge and consent to the bank or payment processor charging your account for lump-sum or monthly contributions as per your selected option.
- Animal Adoption Specifics:
6.1 Animal adoption contributions are symbolic and do not grant ownership or rights over the adopted animals.
6.2 The adopted animal remains under the care of WWF Armenia, contributing to our conservation efforts for that species.
- Tax-Deductible Contributions:
7.1 WWF Armenia is a registered charity, and some contributions may be tax-deductible. Consult with your tax advisor for information on potential tax benefits.
- Refunds:
8.1 Contributions made to WWF Armenia are considered final and non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, please contact us at donation_am@wwfcaucasus.org to discuss your situation.
- Security:
9.1 WWF Armenia takes the security of your information seriously. Our online payment platform uses industry-standard encryption to protect your personal and financial details.
- Communication:
10.1 By making a contribution, you agree to receive communication from WWF Armenia regarding your donation or adoption, our initiatives, and other relevant updates. You can opt-out of these communications at any time.
- Privacy:
11.1 WWF Armenia respects your privacy. We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
12.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia.
12.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Armenia.
- Amendment of Terms:
13.1 WWF Armenia reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The updated terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of our donation and adoption options constitutes acceptance of these changes.
